One day, chef and TV host Alton Brown noticed his dog had been snacking in the kitty litter box! As disgusting as this was, Alton was curious why his dog liked to snack on cat poo and decided to do some research. He discovered lots of dogs like the “stinky” gross treats and decided he’d create a healthy dog treat recipe to help dissuade his dog from his bad habit!
Ingredients you’ll need:
8 oz sweet potato
3 cups of oats
1 can of sardines (plain sardines)
1 large egg
1 oz. peanut butter
2 cups oat flour
2 tsp fish sauce
The combo of sardines and peanut butter sounds icky to me, but judging from the look on his dog’s face when she eats them, I think they must be delicious!
