This story just goes to show how many kind people there are in the world! Army Specialist Henry Alvarado was being re-stationed in Alaska and preparing to move from Los Angeles when his beloved dog, Dukey, was struck by a car.
Henry couldn’t afford the surgery to fix Dukey’s leg, and because of his injury Dukey was prevented from flying. Under orders, Henry had no choice but to leave Dukey behind. That’s when some generous, kind-hearted people came together to make sure the two would be reunited….
