Dog siblings Shelby And Buddy were kept outside 24/7 in the dirt in a small gated area before help came. They had no toys to play with, no space to run around in, and no real food to eat. There was only one dirty little dog house for both of them to share. Then they were rescued.
The Virginia Beach SPCA took them in and nurtured them back to health, treating their heartworms and giving them good food and lots of love. A year later, the dogs have both settled in with their newfound families, but that didn’t mean they were parted forever.
