Shelter Dogs Snuggle Together For Comfort As They Wait For Forever Homes

Two shelter dogs at Palm Beach Animal Care and Control have found comfort in each other’s company. The two Pit Bull mixes became fast friends when they were introduced to each other at the shelter.

A photo of the pair spooning together in their kennel was snapped by Reddit poster, “Vitrol” who commented: “These two are named Kaite and Sugarfoot and are waiting for a home (together or apart) at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, if anyone’s looking for a snuggle buddy!”

It turns out Sugarfoot was surrendered to the shelter in August when her owner moved into an apartment where pets were not allowed. According to the shelter, she loves to play and is good with adults and children and would be perfect for an active family. Kaite was picked up as a stray and arrived at the shelter in September. Kaite is estimated to be 4-years-old and Sugarfoot is around 2-years-old.

Katie and Sugarfoot can be adopted together or separately. If you are interested in adopting them and would like more information be sure to visit Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control’s website.
