Here are examples of pet rescue organization senior discount offers for pet adoptions and support services. Check with your local animal welfare organizations, rescue groups and humane societies to see if they offer similar discount and services.
San Francisco’s Muttville’s Senior’s for Seniors Program – $200 adoption fee waived for 62+ older adopters
Great Plains SPCA Sassy Program – pet meals, financial assistance on vet services to eligible seniors
Sacremento SPCA – For seniors 65+: free vaccine clinics held the first Tuesday of every month, adoption fee waived for pets 1 year or older (20% discount on animals under 1 year of age), discounted dog training, etc.
