Have you ever gone to an art gallery and been completely swept away by a painting? That’s what happened to a man visiting the Birmingham Art Gallery when he discovered this painting by Patrick Hughes that has what he calls “superduperperspective”.
When you walk up to the painting it changes and creates the coolest visual effect!
“As you move around the painting, the room in the painting appears to move with you,” says the person who filmed the video. “The video doesn’t do the painting or its effect justice.”
The painting uses an art technique called reverspective. Parts of the 3D painting that care closest to you actually look farther away until you move closer to it.
