Meet Hugo, a 200-pound grizzly bear who lives at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center near Anchorage. She was saved by two men riding snow machines back in 2000 after they found her with hundreds of porcupine quills embedded in her paws.
She was severely dehydrated and malnourished and was unable to walk or eat when she arrived at the center. She got better but because she did not have the needed skills to survive on her own she became a permanent resident.
In this delightful video, Hugo is given a bale of hay and has a blast playing with it!
