Prisoner Talks To Surprised Bargoers Through Mirror About The Consequences Of Drinking And Driving

No one has a few drinks and thinks they are going to take a life. But it happens every day because of drinking and driving. In 2010, Kris Caudilla struck and killed a deputy with his car after one too many drinks. He was charged with DUI and manslaughter and is currently serving 15 years in prison.

In the following video from We Save Lives, Kris shares his story in an effort to help others understand that his choice changed his life and the lives of the deputy’s family forever.

But how he tells his story is completely unexpected! People drinking at a busy nightclub get surprised by Kris in the mirror of the restroom. We Save Lives set up a two-way projection in the mirror so that Kris can speak directly to patrons at the bar. He can talk to them directly in real-time.

The men are at first puzzled and shocked, but then they listen to his tragic story and his message to have fun but to take care of themselves and their friends. To “be safe out there”.

Please share this powerful video and always help a friend get home safe.
