Police Officer Surprises Kids By Writing Them Tickets For Good Behavior

One police officer in Walpole, Massachusetts has made it his mission to ticket youngsters. But it’s not what it seems. Officer Paul Lagoa is not giving them tickets for misbehaving, but for doing good things. It’s all part of an initiative Officer Lagoa calls “the Positive Ticket”.

When the officer sees children doing something right, he stops them and writes them a ticket. The kids’ reactions turn from confusion to smiles when they realize the tickets also include a coupon for free ice cream! “To put a smile on a kids face like that it’s priceless you can’t ask for anything else,” Officer Lagoa said.

Watch the video below to see the reaction of some of the kids he pulls over and share Lagoa’s initiative with your friends!
