Many of the events in the past year have deeply affected people’s lives, whether it be natural disasters or the shooting tragedies throughout the States. To pay their respects to the families and first responders, Pink and Kelly Clarkson chose to perform R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts” at the 2017 American Music Awards.
Their touching duet left everyone speechless.
This is the first time the duo has performed together, and came just two weeks after Kelly Clarkson had spoken out about her wish to collaborate with Pink sometime. It seems the universe decided to grant her wish.
The two artists have both recently released solo albums, Pink’s ‘Beautiful Trauma’ debuted as No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and Clarkson released ‘Meaning of Life’.
