One special NICU nurse got a surprise ‘thank you’ from one of her patients that took her completely off-guard. When Connor was born prematurely , he was just 1 pound 10 ounces and 27 weeks old. His health was so fragile that he was rushed to neonatal intensive care at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Alberta, Canada. It was during this time that Nurse Gwenn provided the Topilkos with extraordinary support that they say went above and beyond and helped them through the difficult time. That’s why four years later, Connor and his family decided they wanted to surprise her and thank her in person for all that she did.
