McDonald’s Cashier Seen Helping An Elderly Disabled Man Warms People’s Hearts

Destiny was visiting a McDonald’s in downtown Chicago when she noticed something that brought tears to her eyes and prompted her to snap a photo and share it on Facebook. An elderly man in a wheelchair was placing his order and asked the cashier a question that the cashier was having difficulty deciphering.

“It took him a few tries before either of us could understand he was saying ‘Help me please.’ Neither of us knew what help he needed, and the cashier suggested a few things before he figured out the gentleman needed help cutting and eating his meal,” Destiny wrote on Facebook.

Destiny didn’t think the cashier was going to help, given that it was rush hour and very busy in the restaurant. But to her surprise, he shut down his register and disappeared. Curious as to what the young man was up to, Destiny stuck around and was very happy she did. Check out the viral photo she took and her story of the act of kindness that made such a strong impression on her.
