Anchors Cry On TV After Story Of Boy With Cancer Who Still Believes In Miracles

Kyler Bradly has just turned 10, but it was with a heavy heart that his family recently learned he had brain cancer. The tumor is inoperable and there is no cure for it. His family is completely devastated by the news and are doing their best to keep him positive.

When Local 12 News went to interview him, they found Kyler in good spirits, enjoying a normal day at school surrounded by his caring classmates. “Kyler knows he has a tumor, he knows he has brain cancer, he knows it is inoperable, and he knows his time is limited here on earth,” says his mom. He told the interviewer he doesn’t want to die, but he also believes if everyone prays for him, God has to listen.

When the news anchors aired Kyler’s story, their normal stoicism crumbled and they understandably reacted emotionally. Meteorologist John Gummer shared Kyler’s news video on Facebook and writes, “In my nearly 20 years of TV news, I’ve never seen anchors react to a story like this. It got all of us. It’s certainly worth a couple minutes of your time. Hug your kids extra tight before they head off to school this morning.”

Since his story aired, Kyler experienced respiratory failure and is in ICU, where he is now in stable condition. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover his medical expenses.

Good news from Deborah Dixon Local 12 News: "Kyler Bradley update. Prayers worked. He is in stable condition and the clinical trial will continue #kylerstrong"
