Hospice Patient Gets Her Dying Wish To Snuggle With A Basket Of Kittens

When Great Plains SPCA received a dying wish from a resident in hospice care at GC Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri, they knew right away that they would (and could) fulfill it.

“We all know that pets can sometimes be just what the doctor ordered,” writes Great Plains SPCA. “So when we heard from GC Hospice that they had a resident whose only wish was to snuggle some kittens, we couldn’t say no. We brought not just one, but a whole basket of kittens to snuggle up to!”

Carol’s face lights up when she’s the basket of kittens and she proclaims “Oh, they’re precious!” She and the caretakers all took turns cuddling with the little fur balls. One kitten settled in for the visit and finds the perfect nap spot, right behind Carol’s neck.

Carol’s wish is part of the GC Hospice’s “Happiness Is…” program. I think you can guess what Carol answered!
