Not every adoptable dog who arrives at an animal shelter finds a home. Sometimes it takes a long while for a sweet dog to be noticed. That was the case with Drove, who arrived at the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby (HSM&S) after being found tied up in an abandoned home.
Soon after arriving at the shelter, he won over the staff with his sweet and happy personality. But for 6 months, Drove would lay on his comfy pillow in his kennel, waiting to be adopted.
Despite his friendly disposition, a forever family proved hard to come by. Until this particular day. On this day, as Drove curled up on his pillow for his daily snooze, someone came to his kennel. Little did he know his new family was waiting outside for him…
