The crew from Chicken Soup For The Soul’s Hidden Heroes set up a bulletin board with $1 bills pinned to it and the note “Take what you need. Give what you can.” They brought the board to Mission Beach in San Diego and placed it on the boardwalk where people could see. Then they set up a hidden camera to record what happened, not knowing what to expect.
They started off with $20 on the board and their experiment ended up going a lot differently than they imagined! Watch the video below to see the heartwarming outcome. As one passer by says, “Nobody ever went broke from giving!”
