“A recent hire is a gentleman that was having difficulty finding employment because of a brain injury and a support dog,” Lowe’s wrote on Facebook. “So we did what Lowe’s does best: we hired him and outfitted Blue, our customer service canine, with his very own vest!”

The store in Regina, Saskatchewan made sure that Blue not only got a uniform but he also got his own name tag.

The decision to hire the man and his dog is receiving praise from all over and Lowe’s post has been shared more than 11,000 times, with hundreds of comments from well wishers and people praising the store for their hire.

“Way to spread compassion and employment,” wrote one commenter. “Hope other companies follow along with you to help those with special circumstances.”
