Goose Finds Police Officers And Leads Them To Her Baby In Trouble

Two Cincinnati police officers rescued a gosling after the baby bird’s mother came and pecked on the door of their cruiser asking for help.

Sgt. James Givens and Spc. Cecilia Charron had parked next to a creek when the mother goose came over to the vehicle, WKRC reported.

The goose wouldn’t stop pecking the door. She then walked away and looked back as if asking the officers to follow. Officer Givens followed after her and found one of her babies tangled in string from a balloon.

The officers called the local humane society but when they could not come out to assist, they they decided to take matters into their own hands. Charron was able to free the baby as its concerned mother looked on.

Givens filmed their unusual rescue, and the video is now going viral.
