Melissa Giordano filmed this adorable video of her daughter with her rescued pony, Rosie. Rosie is soaking her feet in cold water due to an injury, when the little girl decides to give her a back scratch. That’s when Rosie returns the favor. “My daughter jumped right in the water with Rosie and started scratching her back,” writes Giordano. “Rosie enjoyed it so much she scratched my daughters back in return.”
“Two years ago Rosie was rescued out of a kill pen. Her and many other horses were on there way to Mexico to be slaughtered,” Giordano further explains. “Helping Hearts Equine Rescue Inc. purchased her for her meat price and rehabbed her back to health. We then adopted her and my daughter and her are the best of friends. She is the sweetest pony around and we are so happy she never made it to Mexico!”
