Natasha thought she was just making a regular pizza delivery when she brought one to a congregation at Sycamore Creek Church in Pickerington, Ohio. But she was about to be a participant in a big surprise.
The church was wrapping up a monthly mission on the topic of generosity and when she arrived, Pastor Steve Markle asked her to join him on stage. He first asked her how much they owed. She said $5.99.
He then asked her what the best tip she had ever received and she responded that ten dollars was about it. He handed her $15 for a $9 dollar tip, but then he said that they had been teaching the church about acts of kindness and had been collecting a special tip for her…to the tune of $1046 dollars!
Needless to say, Natasha burst into tears. Markle said he hopes the money would help her. “It can help a lot,” she tearfully tells Markle.
I’m sure the congregation and Natasha will be remembering this pizza delivery for a long time!
