Youngsters all need encouragement and sometimes it comes from the most unlikely sources! William Dutton was three years old and very anxious about starting preschool. The family cat named Milly Moos sensed this and stepped in to reassure him.
Not only does she sit next to him as he put his shoes and coat on, she also walks next to William as his mother Victoria takes him to pre-school. It was just what William needed to boost his confidence.
Milly Moos was William’s best friend even before he was born. She would stroke her paw on pregnant mum Victoria’s bump. From that moment forward it was clear the family cat would be a big part of his life. What a sweet story of friendship and love!
