When rescuers first saw Brandy, she was tied to a fence in an industrial area of a suburb of Athens, Greece. There was a bucket of water and tucked into the fence, a note. It read “Can’t take care of her, I am sorry. She is very nice.”
SCARS believes it was probably a “targeted” abandonment as they keep some of their rescue dogs nearby. Brandy was very stressed and confused as to what was happening to her and when they brought her to the vet the discovered she had kidney failure. But she went through a long treatment for it and is now healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. If you are interested in giving Brandy a home, visit SCARS website for details.
