Can you imagine putting your two dogs in your car driving them to a parking lot, opening your car door letting them out and driving off? That’s what happened to Bambi and Booboo in Florida. Two weeks later, they came to the attention of a group of rescuers.

Thankfully, the kind folks at 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida heard about the bonded pair and set out to save them. The two dogs had not left the lot where then had been dumped, perhaps waiting for their owner to return.

100+ Abandoned Dogs volunteers could barely sleep a wink the night before, thinking of the pair huddled together in the cold parking lot. When they got there, they set humane traps and managed to catch them.
In the video below, the two are comfortably resting on a rescuer’s lap and on their way to a vet. Safe at last!
Booboo and Bambi are around two to three years old, “completely healthy and vaccinated” and didn’t have to wait too long for them to be adopted. A few weeks after their rescue, Booboo and Bambi “found their angels”. The two were adopted together into a loving home.
