Amanda Robles from the Paws Chicago no-kill animal shelter, posted this adorable video of a 5-month-old pit bull puppy named Herbert, who may be young, but is already whip smart. The little puppy knows exactly what to do when he’s asked to say “cheese” and that’s to flash a big toothy grin!
Amanda wrote, “This little rockstar will be up for adoption in about two weeks. he’s such a sweet boy and always wants to sleep in your lap. now that he made u laugh, help find him a home!”
Paws Chicago said that Herbert “currently spending time with a foster family after being rescued from the city pound but will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks. While in foster, he’s learning how to be a puppy, getting lots of cuddles, and working on training.”
After this adorable video went viral, Herbert did find his forever home.
Two months later, Paws Chicago happily shared the news that Herbert (now George) had found the perfect family. He has two Pit Bull siblings and loves his new home. His adoptive family wrote, “George has been doing great. He loves the backyard and his buddy, Nina (tri-color pibble). Tinker (tuxedo pibble) keeps him in check when she needs to, and does a good job playing with him. He loves rolling in fresh cut grass, dirt and the following showers!”
