Officers Rescue Over 500 Helpless Puppies, Now Watch What Happens Just One Year Later

A puppy mill in Georgia that had been operating since the 1980s was shut down last year and authorities seized and rescued 525 dogs from the property! The count was actually higher because many pregnant females gave birth shortly after the bust.

In the video below, dog trainer Victoria Stilwell is on hand to help rescuers at the puppy mill and take the dogs to the local shelter. The dogs were all well looked after so they would be ready for adoption day six weeks later. And what a big day it was! People eagerly lined up the night before and every single dog was adopted. Not only that, the families held a very special reunion a year later.

Also, the owners of the puppy mill plead guilty to 25 charges of animal cruelty and were sentenced to 25 consecutive years of probation.

It’s so important for people to realize that shopping at many pet stores and online support cruel puppy mills like this one. I’m thankful that all the dogs at this puppy mill got their happy endings. All dogs deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
