How To Make A Delicious Potato Bacon Cheddar Tart

This looks like an absolutely delicious breakfast dish. Chef Michael Smith walks you through how to prepare a Potato Bacon Cheddar Tart. The dish has only a few ingredients. Bacon lines the pan and then it’s filled with layers of potato and cheddar cheese. “This is the kind of dish that at first glance seems pretty complicated,” Chef Michael says. “But it’s also the kind of dish that you’ll impress yourself in your own kitchen.”

First you line a pan with a ring of bacon, followed by a thin layer of potato. Next you add a layer of cheese (harder, firmer cheese of any kind works, but Chef Michael likes cheddar) and when it’s filled to the top, you fold the bacon on to the top and then weigh it down with a lid or plate. Then pop it into the oven on a tray at 350 F for around 2 hours and 30 minutes.

After the tart is done cooking, Chef Michael cuts himself a slice and says, “It’s not often that you see perfection in the kitchen, but that’s what it looks like right there.” Mouth-watering! Would this be something you would make?
