Rescue Puppy Overcomes Injuries to Become a Sensitive, Loving Dog
Luna, a 7-week-old puppy, was surrendered to a shelter in terrible shape. Her tiny head was swollen from a fractured skull, along with a broken nose and jaw. The shelter, unequipped to provide the critical medical care she needed, thought the kindest option might be euthanasia. Luna struggled to breathe through her damaged nose, but with the help of her attentive vet and time she grew stronger. Her face may look different but she is a regular dog in every way.
