Soon after a woman ran quickly away from a public restroom in Beijing China, neighbors heard cries from a baby coming from the bathroom stall. They quickly called the authorities and when police arrived they were shocked by what they found. A newborn was down the toilet drain, her head pointing downwards. They could only see the baby’s feet from the side.
Police chief Qian Feng did not want to wait for the toilet to be taken apart and decided to take action. Reaching down the hole, he pulled the screaming infant out. It is a moment that witnesses say they will not forget. The baby girl is reportedly doing fine and is in stable condition.
