The folks at Skippers Canyon Jet in New Zealand offer a boating adventure that’s sure to get the blood pumping. It’s called jetboating and it’s the farthest thing from river rafting and kayaking you can imagine. The boat is propelled by a jet of water ejected from the back of the craft, which acts much like a jet engine in terms of power and speed.
Thrill-seekers get to experience crazy speeds while navigating through beautiful river canyons. It looks a lot like a roller-coaster ride but on a boat to me.
Would you try it? I think my knuckles would be white from holding on to the boat for dear life!
