This beautiful rescue is really amazing!
A Manta Ray swam to a group of divers in the Philippines. They spotted a fishing line slicing through her wing and wanted to help. The diving guide spent several attempts to cut her free.
One of the divers, Jane Headley, wrote, “I am convinced she stayed with us for help as this was the longest and closest interaction during the week of diving.”
What a spectacular experience! I’m glad they were able to help such a majestic creature.
