What this man did to save a stray dog is truly amazing! In the dramatic video below, the young man is seen braving freezing waters to save the dog trapped in the ice in the middle of a lake. The heroic Good Samaritan stripped off his clothes and used his bare fists and elbows to smash through the ice to get to the dog!
Filmed in Russia, video description indicates that the people who saved the dog were driving by when they saw him struggling in the ice.
After both the man and dog had recovered, MReporter.ru followed up the story and met with the pair.
The dog was fed some sausages by his rescuer and apparently the man has saved the dog a second time, having taken him home and named him “Rex”.
