Photographer’s Hilarious ‘Headshots’ Have Made Millions Of People Smile

These selfies are so funny, especially when you learn the secret behind them.

28-year-old photographer Kaija Straumanis created the pictures below as part of her series, called “Headshots”, and they made us smile so much!

What makes these photos easy to smile about is the fact that Kaija isn’t actually sacrificing her face for her art – these photos are all made of composites that she has painstakingly put together for the final product.

How did Kaija come up with this funny idea? Kaija told Reshareworthy.com “I’d been planning on starting a second “365” project, and knew I wanted to start on my 26th birthday, and with something strange and entertaining and a little outside my box process wise.”

“I’m never good at being 100% serious for pictures, and after finding an old kickball in my dad’s basement and toying with the idea for a few weeks, I decided it would be a great prop for setting up a ‘hit to the head’ shot,” Kaija continued.

“After that, I just kind of rolled with the idea whenever a new prop caught my eye (or whenever I broke something accidentally into several pieces). Some are seasonally themed because friends started suggesting I should make a calendar out of the photos.”

Kaija’s photos have made millions of people smile across the world.

She told Reshareworthy.com, “It’s cool to see and have such a positive and entertained response from people. I had an absolute blast taking and working on every one of those pictures, and am glad others are getting a kick out of them as well.”
