What started off as a school project for 24-year-old Veronika Scott ended up becoming something that is changing the lives of homeless people for the better. Veronika began making a jacket to help the homeless stay warm. But after a homeless woman yelled at her that she didn’t need a coat, she needed a job, Veronika decided to take her idea a step further and founded The Empowerment Plan.
Along the way, she was repeatedly told her plan would never work.
But Veronika and the homeless women she’s helping are proving the naysayers wrong. What an inspiring story!
