One Facebook Message Led Twin Sisters Living Thousands Of Miles Apart To Discover Each Other

The Internet is truly one of the greatest, most powerful tools ever developed. This story shows that wonderful and miraculous things can happen because of this invention.

On February 21, 2013, Samantha, an American actor living in Los Angeles, received a message via Facebook that would drastically change her life. It was from Anaïs, a French fashion design student living in London. Anaïs’ friends viewed a KevJumba YouTube video featuring Samantha and were immediately blown away by the identical appearance of Samantha and Anaïs.

With a few light Google stalking sessions, Anaïs and her friends discovered that both girls were born on November 19, 1987 and adopted shortly after. Anaïs knew immediately that it was possible for Samantha to be her biological twin sister and reached out to her through Twitter and Facebook. The two began Skyping and eventually compared baby pictures. The resemblance was uncanny.

Finally, in May 2013, Samantha and her family flew to London to meet Anaïs and her family for the very first time. The “twinsters” as they have dubbed themselves, shared an immediate bond.

Over the next year, Anaïs traveled to Los Angeles to visit Samantha for two weeks. And they were even able to spend 10 days in Seoul, Korea, where they visited their adoption agencies and discovered the land where their separation took place. There seems to be no question that the pair are biological twin sisters, separated at birth.
