When Chase Rhoades was driving from Bethany to Yukon along Route 66 at Lake Overholser in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 29, 2015 he wasn’t expecting the eerie sight he saw on the road. The route had been ravaged by an ice storm that hit the area on Thanksgiving. Branches are strewn on the ground and frost looks like it’s been spray painted over every inch of the trees.
