Tears For Fears Joins Man Playing Dulcimer In His Backyard For Impromptu Performance

Ted Yoder recently went on Facebook Live and played “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” on the dulcimer. Curt Smith and Jamie Wollam of Tears for Fears saw his video and decided to join him and the family in his orchard/backyard for an encore. How cool is that?

Ted began playing the hammered dulcimer in 2007 and is the National Champion in the USA. Back in August of 2016, Ted became a household name when the Facebook video he shot in his backyard went viral, racking up over 89 million views.

Check out this fun, relaxed performance in the video below. And yes, that is a raccoon in the background. She’s family’s pet raccoon, Gidget.

And here’s the original Facebook video that has garnered 89 million views to date! (Please wait a few seconds for the video to load).
