Street Dog Adorably Turns Pet Store Into His Personal Nap Spot

There are many street dogs throughout the world. Sometimes the dogs are adopted by the community and given food, vet care, and a place to rest. Often, they’re drawn to pet-friendly businesses—like the dog who greets the dog groomers or the mama dog who once brought her pup to a vet clinic.

Osito is one such dog. He lives in Argentina and likes to stop by Chila Pets, a pet supply store in the town of Junín. Osito doesn’t have a permanent home, but residents in the town give him food and a place to nap. He knows he can always count on Chila Pets. He’ll show up at their doors and look through the window to signal that he’d like to come inside.

He happily accepts the treats offered, and on occasion, he’ll wander into the store to test out the dog beds. The shopkeeper doesn’t always notice Osito sneaking in.

“Yesterday, when closing the store, we found this,” Chila Pets wrote in a TikTok. “Somebody stayed to sleep inside.” They shared a cute video of the discovery.

Other times, the shopkeeper catches Osito hanging around and invites him to sleep in his apartment above the store.

Whether it’s a nap in the shop or a cozy night upstairs, Osito knows he has a place where he’ll always be welcomed and cared for.
