How To Make An All Natural Mosquito Repellent Mason Jar

There’s nothing worse than being outside for a picnic or barbecue only to have the occasion ruined by mosquitoes and other pests. Rather than (or, in addition to) buying citronella candles you can make this simple, all-natural mixture in a mason jar to help ward off the nasty bugs.

You’ll need:

– mason jar
– 1 to 2 lemon wedges
– 1 to 2 lime wedges
– sprigs of rosemary
– sprig of mint
– water
– lemon eucalyptus oil, lavender oil or cedarwood (around 10 drops) optional
– floating tea candle

Simply put the lemon and lime wedges, rosemary in the mason jar and fill it with water. Add the essential oil of your choosing (or a combination of scents). Finally, add a candle to the top and you are done. Not only are these easy to make, they’re pretty to look at too!
