Man Saves Bald Eagle Caught In Kite String 40 Feet High In Tree

Steve Harding normally cuts and trims trees for a living but he got an unusual call one evening from the Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society (MARS). They needed help freeing a bald eagle tangled in a kite string 40 feet up in a tree!

He arrived at 6 am the next morning and got ready to undertake the daunting task of climbing the tall tree to the bird. Watch as Steve saves the eagle after it’s 10 hour ordeal!

This wasn’t the first time Steve has volunteered his time to help a bird in need. In honor of his rescue, the bird was named Timberwolf, after his business Timberwolf Tree Service.

The eagle was taken in by MARS and monitored and cared for any lasting damage.
