This dog’s story is so heartwarming! After being paralyzed for 5 months from a freak accident, the vet gave a Labrador Retriever named Hank a 60/40 chance that he would recover enough to walk.
Hank was just 6 years old when he had his accident. One day, while jumping into the car he tweaked his spine, which resulted in swelling. Within 3 hours he went from a happy dog with a waggy tail to one completely paralyzed in his hind quarters. At the time, his owner, Molly Lich Williams, thought the worst. Happily, this turned out not to be the case and a few months later Hank took his first tentative steps…
Hank’s walking has apparently improved even more in the days that followed and as far as I know he’s back to his regular self!
