Girl’s Squirrel Rescue Mission Takes A Hilarious Turn

When a woman noticed a squirrel flailing in her granddaughter’s inflatable pool, she knew it needed help. Wanting to save the little creature, she called on her daughter to come to the rescue. But instead of a smooth save, the rescue attempt took a hilarious and unexpected turn.

The mother wrote, “I called my daughter outside to see a squirrel trapped in my granddaughter’s kiddie pool; and of course, being the animal lover she is, she had to attempt a rescue. The squirrel was not quite as grateful as she had hoped!”

The squirrel leapt at the young woman’s face, prompting her to “recoil in horror” and run away screaming. Her mother revealed, “She came away with a scratch on her arm, and after a cautious second attempt, she did indeed rescue the squirrel.”
