Freddie Mercury Sings Beautiful Duet With Opera Singer

Queen singer Freddie Mercury loved opera. His love of the musical genre echoed in many of his popular rock hits. While he was putting together his second solo album, Barcelona, he got to realize his life-long dream of performing with an opera singer. The album was recorded with Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballé, who became a close friend of Mercury’s. The album combines elements of popular music and opera.
