‘The Dog’s in the Tree!’ Family Stunned to Find Pup 35 Feet in the Air

A naughty dog shocked her family when they discovered her 35 feet up a tree. The family came home to find one dog waiting by the door, but the other was nowhere to be seen. At first, they didn’t know where the second dog had gone—until they heard barking.

The family wrote:

“We came home and noticed one dog by the door—but it was strange her sister wasn’t with her. They’re always together. Then we heard crying. My daughter searched everywhere, panicked, and finally screamed, ‘Mom—the dog is in the tree!’ I thought she was joking, but sure enough, her dog was 35 feet up in a tree. We were in total shock.”

Perched at the very top of the tree was their missing dog. How she managed to climb so high remains a mystery, but the mom immediately tried calling the fire department—though, she said, “they kept bouncing me around.”

The dad rushed home while the daughters made a life net out of a blanket and waited below. He climbed a ladder into the tree and—thankfully—brought the dog back down.

“He climbed the tree himself, and thank God, got her down safely. We still can’t believe it.”
