How To Make An Emergency Survival Heater From Toilet Paper And A Can

If you’re ever caught in an emergency situation with no way to heat or cook, this video tutorial demonstrates how to make an emergency survival stove/heater) with a can, a roll of toilet paper and 70% to 90% isopropyl alcohol.

The DIY life hack can be used if you are stuck outdoors without a heat source. However, as with anything involving a flame and carbon monoxide emissions, caution is strongly advised. It is not recommended that such a “stove” be used indoors or in enclosed spaces.

You might notice the sizeable flames results from having the opening completely exposed. By partially covering the can with a lid, you can be more efficient with the fuel and make it last much longer. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.
