There aren’t many dogs who know how to do what Tokyo the Golden Retriever can do. When Tokyo’s humans aren’t around to let her outside to pee, she uses the toilet to relieve herself.
“I taught her when she was little,” Alejandro Rodriguez Corrales told SWNS. “She’s my girlfriend’s dog, but I like to teach her different tricks.”
Corrales says training Tokyo to do it was a “very difficult and long process” but with a lot of patience and encouragement, Tokyo now will use the toilet if she can’t get outside. He says Tokyo is very clean and never leaves a mess, but adds, “The only thing she doesn’t know how to do is to flush.”
What a clever trick, except I think I’d have to give my dogs their own bathroom.
