Derby is a dog born with deformed front legs. He was rescued and fostered and got a cart but it didn’t let him keep up with other dogs or run.
3D Systems was tasked to make Derby prosthetics. They used 3D printing and created him a pair of unique prosthetics. They purposely made them low to give him a chance to get to use his new legs. Watch how fast Derby adapts to his new “legs”!
He’ll be fitted with new ones at optimal height as he gets used to them. It’s amazing what 3D printing can do to change our lives for the better!
