Dog Rescued From Chain Can’t Stop Dancing When She Hears She’s Been Adopted

Just over five weeks ago, a dog named Bianca was saved from a miserable life spent on a very short chain, standing in her own filth.

Ever since her rescue by Niall Harbison, the adorable white dog has been enjoying her freedom and doing what Niall calls “the freedom dance.”

He writes on Instagram, “She has been enjoying her freedom so much that every time we go and see her or take her for a walk she does what I call the ‘freedom dance.’”

Niall founded the animal rescue Happy Doggo in 2021 with a mission to feed street dogs in Thailand. The organization runs spay and neuter programs for the thousands of strays, provides food and medical care, and helps find rescued dogs loving homes.

In Bianca’s case, Niall recently had some wonderful news to share in a video—she’s been adopted.

“The freedom dance was in full effect today as she got the wonderful news that just 5 weeks after getting off the chain she has a forever home,” he writes.

In the video, Niall walks toward Bianca holding a piece of paper that reads “You are adopted.” The white dog prances joyfully as he approaches. A flashback clip shows the day she was freed—tethered to a chain so short, she could barely move.

But just over a month later, she’s heading to America, where her “tippy taps” are sure to win over her new family.

“You’re going to live in America,” Niall tells her as she prances. “You’re never going to live on a chain again.”

Thanks to Niall and his incredible team of rescuers, Bianca is finally free to live her best life.
