Dalmatian Politely Waits Outside Neighbor’s Door To Be Invited In For Dinner
Tucker the 8-year-old Dalmatian knows how to follow his nose especially when it leads to dinner. His mom, Shannon Haldeman, shared an adorable video of him patiently waiting at the neighbors’ door, clearly hoping for a seat at the table.

She wrote, “My dog will wait at my neighbors’ door when he smells them cooking until they let him in.”
You can watch that sweet moment here:
About ten minutes later, Tucker emerges — licking his chops, as Shannon says, clearly satisfied with his visit.
According to Shannon, this isn’t a one-time event. Tucker has become a regular dinner guest ever since he first smelled something delicious and ran straight to their door. “If I let him outside around their dinner time, he would wander over and wait at the door,” Shannon told The Dodo. “It wasn’t until recently [that] they started inviting him in! Now he stops over at least 3-4 times a week.”
Apparently, he’s a bit of a plate cleaner too — enjoying treats like peanut butter and yogurt.
Viewers can’t get enough of Tucker’s dinner antics. One person joked:
“Well I hate to eat and run but y’all know what’s up, so same time tomorrow? u still doing burgers right?” To which Shannon replied, “THIS!”
Another commented, “Walked in starving, walked out STUFFED.”
And someone else called him the “Cutest dine and dasher,” prompting Shannon to add, “Hope he tipped!” We’re sure he does give tips with a happy tail wag and that irresistible Dalmatian smile.
