Teeny Tiny Rescue Puppy Stays Warm With Jackets Made From Children’s Socks

A tiny Chinese-crested Chihuahua cross named Arthur arrived at the RSPCA with a body temperature so low he had hypothermia.

They began nursing him back to health, treating him for worms and a skin infection.

The tiny puppy was just 6-weeks-old (too young to be away from his mother) and being hairless, he was having trouble keeping warm, so the staff came up with a simple way to keep the chills at bay. They made him adorable coats and sweaters out of children’s socks!

The socks were the only thing small enough to fit on him (he weights about 1.3 pounds / 600 grams).

He now has a full wardrobe of cute and colorful jumpers. Tiny Arthur may have had a rough start, but the puppy has a bright future ahead. He already has a home lined up and he’s getting better every day!
