Adam Levine Performs Inspiring Rendition Of “Purple Rain”

When Adam Levine stepped onstage for Howard Stern’s 60th Birthday Bash back in 2014, he performed “Purple Rain”. His version of Prince’s hit song was a huge hit with the audience and his guitar solo (beginning at 3:45) is epic!

Upon news of Prince’s death, “The Howard Stern Show” decided to release Levine’s performance on YouTube as a tribute to the pop legend.

After learning that Prince passed away on April 21, 2016 Levine told People, ”[I’ll remember] just the great times that we had and just constantly being inspired by how he did things his way [and] never let anybody deter what he wanted to accomplish creatively and musically. As a musician, I can’t tell you how much that’s rubbed off on me.”
